iPhone will be in Spain
From few sources, it seems Apple is going to officially launch iPhone in Spain. Apple has resently signed an agreement with Telefonica Movistar of Spain to start the sell of iPhone in Spain. And with that, iPhone will also provice support for PA semi chips for the military and its very light Macbook Air.
On a public speaking, Franciso Jose Santos Esteras of Telefonica Movistar said that their firm has signed an agreement with the Apple US to offer iPhone mobile phones in Spain with their cellular plan from later this year. This he said in the Professional Communications congress held at University of Zaragoza during this month.
Also,Telefonica will have temporary exclusive rights of the sale of genuine iPhone handsets in the country for about 3 to 6 months. Telefonica currently is leading the service provider market with over 22 million customers in Spain and few parts of Latin America.
With this news, there seems some hope all round the world to get the genuine iPhone models in their country. (Though unsupported unlocked versions are available everywhere
